GEN SUZUKI STUDIO代表 / プロダクトデザイナー
1975年生まれ。金沢美術工芸大学卒。ロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アート(RCA)、デザインプロダクツ科修了。松下電器産業株式会社（現パナソニック株式会社）、IDEOロンドン、ボストンオフィスを経て2014年に帰国。GEN SUZUKI STUDIOを設立。日用品、家電、家具など幅広い領域で、国内外の企業にデザインやコンサルティングを行っている。
グッドデザイン賞審査委員。金沢美術工芸大学非常勤講師。
Gen Suzuki was born in 1975. Prior to founded his design studio in 2014, he was part of the design team at IDEO where he has worked in various fields of design ranging from consumer goods, furniture and electronics to healthcare.
His work has been widely recognized with numerous international awards, including Best Newcomer Award at 100% Design London, IF awards and the Good Design awards. He was also featured in The Independent as one of the young designers to watch.
He has a MA(RCA) in Product Design from the Royal College of Art in the UK, and a BA from Kanazawa College of Art in Japan- where he continues to be a lecturer. He also has been serving as a juror at Good Design award.
